rog: Asus announces ROG Strix Scar 17 SE, ROG Flow X16 with latest generation processors, improved cooling system and more – Times of India

Asus Republic of Gamers has announced its new range of gaming laptops at the For Those Who Dare: Boundless virtual event. The new lineup of laptops includes two high-performance ROG Strix and ROG Flow gaming laptops. Along with that, the company has also announced a range of new bags and apparel from ROG Slash, the Team ROG initiative and a standalone first-person parkour game for ROG Citadel XV.
ROG Strix SCAR 17 Special Edition: Features and more
The new ROG Strix SCAR 17 Special Edition houses the latest generation CPU and GPU and an improved cooling solution. The laptop also comes with a custom vapour chamber paired with ROG’s exclusive Conductonaut Extreme liquid metal applied to both the CPU and GPU.
The Strix SCAR 17 comes with two display options — FHD with 360Hz refresh rate and QHD panel with 240Hz refresh rate. Both the panels offer a 3ms response time. The laptop supports up to 64GB DDR5 4800MHz RAM and PCIe Gen 4 storage in RAID 0 configuration.

ROG Flow X16: Features and more
The ROG Flow X16 is the bigger display version of the last year’s Flow X13 laptop. The laptop features a 16-inch HDR display with a 165Hz refresh rate and 1100nits of peak brightness. The laptop is powered by AMD Ryzen 9 6900HS processor paired with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti GPU. Like the Flow X13, the Flow X16 also supports the XG Mobile family of external GPUs.
