Deepika Padukone opted for the Sabyasachi ensemble on the first day of the Cannes Film Festival. During the day, she wore a tropical print shirt with emerald green pants, a printed scarf on her head, and a heavy bejewelled neckpiece with small earrings.
The Tamasha actress wore Sabyasachi’s golden and black striped saree on the red carpet, inspired by Bengal Tiger. Deepika paired the sari with a bejewelled headband from Sabyasachi Jewellery’s Royal Bengal collection. The actress rounded off her retro look with bold and black eyeliner, black manicure, nude lips, and a hair bun.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan receives a warm welcome at Cannes
Aishwarya Rai, Abhishek Bachchan, and their daughter Aaradhya Bachchan received a warm welcome in the French Riviera. They were clicked as they reached Cannes from Mumbai. The photos showed Aaradhya posing with a bouquet of flowers next to her mother.
AR Rahman and Kamal Haasan have a reunion at Cannes Red Carpet
Music director AR Rahman shared a picture with Kamal Haasan on Instagram. The two stars can be seen posing for a photo. Fans reacted to the post and called them legend. The two were a part of the Indian delegation along with R Madhavan, Tamannaah Bhatia, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and others.

On Tuesday, Tamannah Bhatia and Urvashi Rautela made their red carpet debut at the Cannes Film Festival. Tamannah wore a black and white body-hugging gown with a long trail, she accessorised her look with a pair of diamond earrings. Shaleena Nathani styled her.
Urvashi Rautela opted for a white off-shoulder ruffle gown with a long tulle. She completed her look with crimson red lips and a hair bun.
AR Rahman’s VR Debut Film ‘Le Musk’ premiered at Cannes 2022
A.R. Rahman’s directorial debut, ‘Le Musk’, a virtual reality film, was premiered at the Cannes Film Market’s Cannes XR programme, which focuses on cinematographic content that uses immersive technologies. The music maestro shared a picture of people wearing AR/VR headsets watching the film sitting in their immersive VR chairs designed by the Los Angeles-based company Positron.
Rajasthani Singer Mame Khan Is The First Folk Artist From India To Walk The Red Carpet
Led by Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur as part of the official Indian delegation, Rajasthani singer Mame Khan on Tuesday made history by becoming the first folk artist to open Red Carpet for India at the Cannes Film Festival. Khan, who has been a playback singer for several Bollywood films such as ‘Luck By Chance’, ‘No One Killed Jessica’, and ‘Sonchiriya’ among others, was dressed in a traditional Rajasthani ensemble that included a vibrant pink Kurta underneath an ethnic embroidered coat.
